教育与工作经历
1981~1995年,湖南娄底地区人民医院传染科住院医师、主治医师、副主任医师;1986~1987年,同济医科大学附属同济医院进修;1990~1995年,中国预防医学科学院病毒所进修;1995年至今,厦门大学生命科学学院副研究员、研究员、教授、博导;1996年,香港大学医学院微生物学系访问学者;2005年至今,国家传染病诊断试剂与疫苗工程技术研究中心(厦门大学)主任;2011年至今,厦门大学公共卫生学院院长、教授;2013年至今,分子疫苗学和分子诊断学国家重点实验室(厦门大学)主任、心秋白菜网医学诊断中心主任、医学检验科主任。
研究方向与科研项目

诊疗特色与专长
在疫苗、传染病检测技术等方面取得多项突破性成果。带领团队突破理论和技术障碍,创建出具有自主知识产权的大肠杆菌原核表达类病毒颗粒疫苗技术体系,藉此研制出全球首个上市的戊肝疫苗及即将上市的首个国产宫颈癌疫苗,开辟了基因工程疫苗研发的新途径;发明的戊肝诊断试剂被公认为新一代国际“金标准”;研制出多个质量领先的艾滋病毒诊断试剂,两次引领国产艾滋病免疫诊断试剂升级换代,使国产艾滋病诊断试剂长期维持在国际先进水平。
